Programming Overview

ADDS is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization which operates eight addiction treatment programs providing direct services to persons suffering from alcohol and substance abuse. Licensed by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services, and under contract with the Erie County Department of Mental Health, ADDS operates a comprehensive system of services that includes:

• A ten (10) bed Medically Supervised Withdrawal and Stabilization Services Program
• An eighteen (18) bed Medically Monitored Withdrawal and Stabilization Services Program
• A forty-three (43) bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Program
• An eighteen (18) bed Community Residence for women
• A seventeen (17) bed Community Residence for men
• Outpatient Clinic
• A thirty (30) bed Residential Rehabilitation for Youth Program (males ages 12-18)
• A sixteen (16) bed Residential Rehabilitation for Youth Program (males ages 18-21)
• A sixteen (16) bed Residential Rehabilitation for Youth Program (females ages 12-21)
• Supportive Living Apartments

• Programs are comprised of multi-disciplinary teams of individuals including qualified health professionals

• Emphasis is placed on client support, long term recovery, the identification and development of community support mechanisms, and a return to the community via job assistance, independent living, and other skill-based treatment services.

• ADDS collaborates with many community organizations including the employee assistance program, mental health service providers, addiction providers, and the criminal justice program.
